We aim to solve a 30 year old problem, which is to understand using human stem cells how certain genetic mutations cause human disease.
Impact
We currently don't know how mutations that affect master regulators of cell fate cause disease. Knowing molecular events that to date have not been understood will open up new treatment possibilities.
