Interested Persons Meeting for Public Comment on Proposed Amendments to CIRM Grants Administration Policy

Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.

CIRM’s Grant Administration Policy for Academic and Nonprofit Institutions – the GAP — sets out the detailed rules for management of CIRM awards.  The GAP is generally modeled on the NIH’s Grants Policy Statement, with differences that reflect CIRM’s distinct role and mission.

CIRM proposes a round of amendments to the GAP. With additional experience, and feedback from grantees, we have identified various policy changes that we would like to make to improve administration of CIRM grant awards.

We are holding an Interested Persons’ meeting to go over these important amendments (please see “Policy Amendments”, a redline version of the GAP, for detail) and gather feedback and suggestions from our Grantees and the public.

Please join us for a CIRM public meeting to review the proposed changes to our Grants Management Policy. The proposed changes and process are as follows:
