  3. Consideration of recommendations from Grants Working Group regarding:
      a. Bylaws for Grants Working Group
      b. Procedures for considering grants
      c. Criteria for review of research grant applications
      d. Criteria for award of training grants
      e. Award of training grants

           Citizens’ Oversight Committee, Alameda County Superior Court, Case No. HG05206766; Mary Scott Doe v.

       b. Discussion of Personnel (Government Code section 11126, subdivision (a); Health & Safety Code section

Immediately prior to restarting the board meeting there will be a brief press conference regarding the Training Grant awards.

  1. Public report of any action taken, if necessary, during closed session.
  2. Consideration of potential second round of funding, including, but not limited to:
      a. Supplementary grants
      b. New grants
      c. Special clinical scholars program grants
  3. Consideration of report from Standards Working Group, including but not limited to:
      a. Consideration of CIRM interim guidelines for human embryonic stem cell research
      b. Appointment of Co-Chair
      c. Consideration of Bylaws for Standards Working Group
      d. Consideration of Standards Working Group Meeting Procedures
  4. Consideration of report from Governance Subcommittee including but not limited to ICOC Bylaws.
    1. Contracts and Interagency Agreement Report
    2. Contracts Summary Balances
    3. CIRM Budget for FY 2005-2006
  5. Informational report on the California Administrative Procedure Act.
  6. Informational session: Ethics Training.
  7. Public comment. The Committee will accept public testimony on any matter under its jurisdiction that is not on the agenda, but the Committee cannot act on any such matter at this meeting.
  8. Adjournment.
