  1. Approval of minutes from August 12-13 and September 25th, 2008 ICOC Meetings.

  1. Chairman’s Report.
  2. President’s Report.
  3. Informational update on status of the Intellectual Property Policy Consolidation project.

  1. Consideration of recommendations from Grants Working Group on Tools and Technology Award applications.
  2. Consideration of recommendation from Grants Working Group on New Cell Lines application.

  1. Discussion of confidential intellectual property or work product and prepublication, confidential scientific research or data relating to Tools and Technology applications and New Cell Lines application. (Health & Safety Code 125290.30(d) (3) (B) and (C)).

  4. Consideration of approval for staff to finalize regulations process for amendments to the Grants Administration Policy for Academic and Non-Profit Institutionsand submission of amendments to the OAL for final approval.

  5. Consideration of names for CIRM funded Major Facilities.
  6. Consideration of Pre-Application Review.
  7. Consideration of CIRM Conference Grant Application from the International Society for Stem Cell Research.
  8. Consideration of appointment of new scientific members for Grants Working Group.
  9. Consideration of accelerated funding program for approved grants and loans for for-profits.
  10. Public comment. The Committee will accept public testimony on any matter under its jurisdiction that is not on the agenda, but the Committee cannot act on any such matter at this meeting.
