Spotlight on Arthritis

On January 30, 2009, the CIRM Governing Board heard from three speakers about the promise of stem cell research in treating arthritis. They learned about the different types of arthritis from Mark Genovese, about osteoarthritis, the most common form of arthritis, from William Robinson, and about a patient’s perspective of rheumatoid arthritis from Barbara D’Amico.
