Spotlight on Batten Disease: Seminar by Stephen Huhn, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.P.

Stephen Huhn, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.P. spoke at the “Spotlight on Batten Disease,” an educational event presented at the CIRM Governing Board meeting on August 13, 2008. Huhn summarized the biology of Batten disease and discussed the clinical trial that is currently underway.  Huhn is Vice President and Head of the Neural Program at Stem Cells, Inc. He is on leave from Stanford University’s School of Medicine, where he is Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery.

Dr. Huhn was introduced by Ed Penhoet , Ph.D. Dr. Penhoet is a member of the CIRM Governing Board and is Director of Alta Partners.
