| WHAT I'D LIKE TO BEGIN WITH IS WE'RE UP TO THE THIRD ITEM OF OUR AGENDA, THE CONSIDERATION OF DISEASE ADVOCATE MEMBERS OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND MEDICAL FACILITIES WORKING GROUP. AND THE REASON THAT WE'RE BRINGING THIS FORWARD IS THAT, AS MEMBERS OF THE WORKING GROUP MAY KNOW, BUT AS MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC MAY NOT YET BE AWARE, SADLY ONE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE INDEPENDENT CITIZENS' OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE WILL BE LEAVING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND LEAVING HER RESPONSIBILITIES. PHYLLIS PRECIADO IS MOVING TO ANOTHER LOCATION. OF COURSE, ALL OF THESE ELEVEN PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SCREENED FOR THE KINDS OF CONFLICTS OR THE KINDS OF PROHIBITIONS WHICH WOULD AUTOMATICALLY BAR THEM FROM BEING EVEN CONSIDERED. SO THEY'VE ALL PASSED THAT INITIAL SCREEN. | |||||||||
