Science Subcommittee

Mission Statement

The Science Subcommittee shall be responsible for considering policy matters relating to CIRM’s scientific program, including policies and procedures relating to requests for applications, the review of applications by the Grants Working Group and the Governing Board, and the composition of the Grants Working Group and the roles of members and CIRM staff. At the discretion of the Governing Board or the Chairman of the Governing Board, the Science Subcommittee may also consider issues relating to CIRM’s strategic plan.
