CIRM Showcase: Accelerating Stem Cell Treatments to Patients

Nov. 5th at UCSF Mission Bay

CIRM has made tremendous progress advancing stem cell therapies to patients and expects to have ten approved clinical trials by the end of 2014!  The trials will span various modalities (cell therapy, mAbs, small molecules) and therapeutic areas and are increasingly being partnered with major industry players.  CIRM still has $1 billion to invest and is interested in co-funding with industry and investors – don’t miss the chance to strike the next partnership!

Join hosts CIRM and Janssen Labs for the one-day event featuring presentations by a dozen of CIRM’s clinical stage programs and novel platform screening technologies.  The event will provide an opportunity to meet the investigators, and will feature both CIRM-funded academic researchers as well as companies working across a variety of therapeutic areas and modalities.

This interactive program, held on the UCSF Campus at Byers Auditorium in Genentech Hall, is meant to serve as a meet and greet.  The event will also provide the opportunity to hear from CIRM President Randy Mills regarding streamlining CIRM’s application and funding process and the new CIRM 2.0!

An RSVP is required for this meeting.  The link below will take you to an Eventbrite page where you can register for the free meeting (lunch will be provided).  The password for this Showcase on Eventbrite is  “CIRM2014”
