Spotlight on Basic Research: Welcoming Remarks

Robert Klein, J.D. and Sam Hawgood, M.B.B.S., gave the welcoming remarks for the “Spotlight on Basic Research,” an educational event presented at the CIRM Governing Board meeting on August 20, 2009. Klein is Chair of the CIRM Governing Board and President of Klein Financial Corporation. Hawgood is dean of the UCSF school of medicine and a member of the CIRM Governing Board.

The CIRM-hosted event was presented at the UCSF Mission Bay campus.
